1. Grow Your Blog Revenue
So, why is it important to post to a blog regularly?
One of the main reasons bloggers like you and I publish content consistently is that it helps to grow the blog’s revenue.
These are the main ways I have implemented to help grow my blog revenue:
- Display Advertising
- Blog sponsorships
- Affiliate marketing
- Digital courses
- Writing
- Coaching
By blogging consistently, you have more posts for advertising networks to display ads in your blog posts, boosting your ad revenue income from your blog.
You may also receive offers from brands to help promote their products through sponsored posts.
I am a big fan of affiliate marketing due to its passive nature in generating blog revenue.
I recommend products and services that I personally use and get paid a small commission when someone makes a purchase using my link.
Note: I used Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing to learn everything I needed to know about Affiliate Marketing. Michelle makes over $50,000 per month by implementing her effective step-by-step affiliate marketing strategy guide.
Sounds cool right?
Throughout my blogging journey, I have created multiple digital courses and offered personal coaching to my students to help them achieve their goals in their blogging journey.
This would not have been possible if I did not understand the importance of blogging and act on it by blogging regularly!
2. Increase Traffic
Does it frustrate you when you look at your blog analytics? Are you trying to reach the pageviews or sessions but you have no clue how you can do that?
One of the most effective ways to get Google traffic to your site is to publish blog posts to your site consistently.
You must be wondering: is blogging good for business?
By publishing more posts, you are giving Google more chances to rank your articles, which in turn gives you more opportunities to get google traffic.
The google traffic you gain may then help you to profit more from display advertising when they read your articles, or affiliate marketing when they make purchases using your links. Do you see the cyclic effect now?

3. Engage With Your Community
One great thing about blogging is that it helps you engage deeply with the community within your blogging niche.
You will even be able to meet new people in person to discuss specific topics together.
Say you are a new mom and you post about excitements and struggles being a new mom, or if you are a plant blog owner that writes about taking care of plants.
I am sure that meeting like-minded people will definitely spark discussion and new ideas.
In fact, I was invited by Niche Pursuits and Niche Website Builders to share my strategies for running a few successful blogs through podcasts.
I was also invited to summits to discuss certain blogging topics with other blogging experts in my niche.
To me, these fulfilling experiences not only helped me to connect with the wonderful blogging community all around the world, but they also allowed me to share my own experiences and struggles of setting up a few niche sites.
It has always been my passion to help people to achieve financial independence through blogging and blogging consistently has definitely helped me to connect with my community better!
4. Make Your Audience Come Back
I am sure you have a few favorite Youtube channels or social media influencers.
You may get excited when they release new content on their accounts and make sure to watch and like the content.
Blogging is the same thing!
Your audience and followers will be the first to support you when it comes to content creation.
When you set up a routine to blog consistently, your audience will come back at regular intervals to read the articles that you have published.
This creates a strong bond between you and your followers for your blog’s success.
5. Improve Your Search Engine Ranking
You may or may not know this: if you are a business owner, blogging for a business will help drive your business growth.
When you publish good quality articles regularly and implement SEO strategies, your articles will rank faster and higher on Google searches.
A highly ranked article helps people to discover your website easily.
They will be able to find the products and services of your business. When you have multiple articles with similar products, your website will be visible even with different keywords searched.
As for personal blogs, ranking higher on Google searches helps to attract a more organic audience to your site, boosting your ads revenue and affiliate marketing commission.

6. Build Domain Authority Of Your Site
Domain authority predicts how likely a website will rank in search engine result pages like Google.
A high domain authority score corresponds to a higher likelihood of website ranking.
When you consistently post good-quality articles on your website, Google will start to recognize that your articles help solve people’s problems when they read your article.
The relevant content that you publish will result in readers clicking and staying on your website, helping you to build domain authority for your site.
7. Get Backlinks
When you write enough high-quality articles for your blog routinely, you are regarded as the subject matter expert in your blogging niche in the eyes of other bloggers in your niche and also Google.
Your highly-ranked website will then be regarded as a reference by your peers when they publish articles on their sites.
When other bloggers link their articles to your website through backlinks, it helps to increase the domain authority of your site, thus, boosting your search engine rank.
Imagine that you own a dog blog sharing your observations and practices of handling dogs for 10 years.
I am pretty sure that pet shop websites and new budding dog bloggers would be happy to link their sites back to yours as a reference.

8. Build Trust And Loyalty With Your Audience
Trust is one of the hardest things to build in human relationships.
Trust results from consistency. To build trust, we normally expect some expected patterns and behaviors from each other.
I still remember when I first started offering digital courses and coaching, I received single-digit sign-ups in the beginning phase.
I continued to publish quality and informative articles about blogging here to help people to start blogging.
I also started answering questions my followers had concerning their blogs and offered SEO advice for free.
By doing that, my followers started to see the value I am offering and recommend their friends to follow me for free blogging tips. As a result, my Instagram reached 10k followers.
Some of my followers who have followed me for a while started supporting me by buying my digital courses after they received valuable tips from my blogs.
The hard work of blogging consistently definitely paid off. The lesson I learned throughout my blogging journey is that loyalty is built when there is consistency, and always offer more than what you have promised to strengthen the trust!

11. Repurpose Your Blog Content For Social Media
Running a business blog? Wonder what are the benefits of a company blog? Why does a blog help to propel your business?
By blogging routinely on your company blog, it promotes your products and services to a wider group of audience through Google search.
Companies and businesses often have a presence on multiple sites (corporate websites, Facebook, Instagram, etc.). You do not need to create separate content for different sites.
You can repurpose and reuse your blog articles for social media posts. Just trim down the article or use an infographic with similar content from your article next time to promote your product on Facebook to save time!
The strategy works not just for company blogs, but personal blogs as well. Create multiple posts with one article to save your brain juice from creating social media posts from scratch.
